Barry started his career in 1995 as a Certified Public Accountant working with clients from various industries providing consulting, tax and audit services. In 2000 his focus shifted solely to the collision industry when he went to work for AkzoNobel, where he developed through a range of roles from Business Development Manager, Services Consultant, Sales Manager, Services Manager and Business Services Manager. This enabled him to develop and deliver the necessary knowledge and tools focused on helping his customers to apply what they learn to move them forward, taking them to the next level of operations. In 2015, Barry opened a niche consulting firm, Compass Leadership Training, LLC, where he focused leadership consulting and education. Helping his clients develop their managers into leaders they need through the application what leadership focused learnings. Barry received his B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from West Virginia University and now lives in Atlanta, GA.
